Mark is a very modest chap...he certainly doesn't like to blow his own trumpet (I've been waiting 12 years to use that joke...no, you're right, it wasn't worth it). He's been playing for many years, and specifically told me not to mention the fact that he is now the oldest member of the band. The high notes he can hit can only really be appreciated by bats, and he practices his lip embouchure by sucking porridge through a straw. His main hobby is building things out of matches, and is only 5000 matches short of building a model of a really big match.
